Friday, September 1st, our last Temperature Lunch of 2017 is a shrimp stuffed potato with brie fondu and bacon crumbles for $9.10!

Temperature Lunch Is Back

A 23-Year-Old Tradition!


The popular New Orleans summer dining tradition continues at Palace Café with Temperature Lunch. Returning for its 23rd year (starting on Monday, May 29th) Temperature Lunch is available Monday-Friday, 11:30-2:30 pm. The two course special is priced at the previous day’s high temperature (85° on Monday=Tuesday’s $8.50 lunch) and is available through Labor Day.


“Temperature Lunch is synonymous with summer lunch. Locals love it and frequently dine with us more than once a week, in fact, we have a few guests we see daily” commented Palace Café owner, Dickie Brennan. For the first course, guests have their choice of Soup du Jour or Salad for an appetizer. Using local, seasonal ingredients, our culinary team create daily entrée specials.

Gulf Fish Ceviche lime, cucumber, tomato and fried garlic

Chilled Duck Breast Black-eyed pea salad and soft herbs
